Countdown to Any Date
Count down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to any date and share the countdown as a link.
Counts down to a date and time — a launch, a trip, an exam, a festival — in days, hours, minutes and seconds, and gives a link to the countdown that shows the same moment to everyone who opens it.
Setting up and sharing a countdown
Give the event a name if you like, then its date, time and time zone. The time zone is the event's own: a launch at 10:00 in New York counts to 10:00 New York time, and the countdown also shows what time that is where you are. Under the countdown are the hours and the Monday-to-Friday working days left, and for an event more than a year away, the years, months and days.
The link holds the name, date, time and time zone, so everyone who opens it counts down to the same instant, wherever they are, and sees the countdown first with the details below it. Editing any detail updates the link; copy it again to share the change. Once the moment passes, the countdown counts the time since.
The quick picks — New Year, Republic Day (India), Valentine's Day, International Women's Day, Victory Day (Russia) and Halloween — fall on the same date every year and count to its next midnight. Festivals that follow lunar calendars, such as Diwali and Eid, move from year to year; enter their date for the year you want.
