How to use it
Pick the date of birth and the date to measure age on, which starts at today. The second date must be on or after the date of birth.
Use a future date to find how old someone will be on a given day, or two past dates to measure the time between them — the calculator works for any start date, not only birthdays.
How age is counted
Months are counted anniversary by anniversary from the date of birth, and the remaining days run from the last monthly anniversary. When a month is too short for the day — 31 January has no 31 February — the anniversary falls on the month's last day.
So someone born on 29 February turns a year older on 28 February in non-leap years. The totals count whole calendar days; hours, minutes and seconds are those days in 24-hour units, not the time since the hour of birth.

Born 15 August 1990, on 29 September 2026
The age is 36 years, 1 month and 14 days: 13,194 days in all. The next birthday is 15 August 2027.
A 29 February birthday
Born on 29 February 2000, on 28 February 2026 the age is exactly 26 years; the next birthday is 28 February 2027.
From 31 January to 1 March 2026
One month after 31 January is 28 February, so the gap is 1 month and 1 day — 29 days.
